Actor Robert Clarke realizes, with appreciation, that he is identified with one film more than any other. "I'm known as the Sun Demon," he boasts. "At Forrest Ackerman's 80th birthday they announced me -- they said, 'Now we'll hear from Robert Clarke, The Sun Demon.' "

Though the film is certainly not up to the standards of some of Clarke's other features, Man From Planet X, Bedlam, Beyond the Time Barrier and The Body Snatcher to name just a few, "It's interesting," he muses, "that the following of that film -- which I don't think is as good as Planet X nor as well made as Time Barrier -- the Sun Demon has a following."
