her film noir forays and recalls some personal favorites.
In 1952, Marie Windsor, struggling
starlet, landed a lead in what was to become one of
filmdom's truly impeccable examples of film noir, The
Narrow Margin. "My agent climbed through the
window of the casting director with a test that I had
made out at 20th Century Fox -- and that was it."
